The network adapter is the card installed on your computer. With its help the Internet access on wireless technologies or by means of cable connection is executed. Malfunctions in operation of the adapter can be caused by the wrong installation of the driver, setup of a system or operation of the device.
Instruction
1. Install the latest version of the driver for your network adapter. For this purpose pass to the official site of vendor of a payment and make loading of the necessary files from appropriate section "Support" of a resource.
2. Before loading you will need to learn model of your device to select it in the interface of the website. For this purpose click the right mouse button on the section of the Start menu - "Computer". In the left part of the appeared window select the section "Device manager". In a line click "Network adapters" a drop-down list and look at indicated value.
3. Load the selected package of drivers. After the end of downloading before installation start you will need to delete the old software for the device. For this purpose in "Device manager" right-click on your adapter and select "Properties". After that click on the Driver tab, and then click "Delete".
4. Start the received file of the driver and follow instructions on the screen for completion of installation of the equipment. After that you will need to reboot for application of settings.
5. If after reinstallation of the driver the problem remained, use means of debugging of a system. For this purpose open the Start menu and in the search string of programs enter request "Debugging", and then select the received result. Click the section "Network and Internet" - "Network adapter". Following instructions on the screen, make recovery operation.
6. Check connection of a cable to the system unit or operation of the router. If in your computer several network adapters are installed, you can also try to make connection by means of other device. For this purpose thrust a cable of the Internet in other Ethernet-connector of the computer.
7. If any of above-mentioned methods did not help, contact the specialized service center for correction or replacement of the network adapter.
