At the moment there are two main ways of obtaining e-mail: via the web interface and via the client software program. For quite some time now more often one more method - mixed began to be used. Its essence consists in a receipt of letters from the server, but on the client software program.

Instruction
1. At setup of the mixed type of obtaining e-mail some users remove a mark from the option "Save Copies of Messages on the Server". After receipt of new letters on the server your letters are automatically redirected on the e-mail address. As soon as they reach your local folder, their copies will be deleted from the server that does not allow to make their recovery.
2. But despite shutdown of this option, it is possible to save the lost mail after all. First of all you need to check the name of the protocol by means of which obtaining mail letters by your client is made. At choice there are two protocols: IMAP and POP3. The last protocol is used most often and, as a rule, is the choice of many clients by default.
3. This protocol has pluses (to configure much more simply) and minuses (does not synchronize local directories). Only IMAP can provide much bigger functionality. It is possible to select it when editing or changing an account type of your e-mail.
4. Delete the account of your e-mail from the client (all correspondence will remain on the computer). Click the top menu "Service" and select the Accounts item. In the opened window select the necessary mailbox, then click by the Delete button and in the appeared window of confirmation of removal click the ENTER key.
5. Now you need to create the new account with the former e-mail address. Change the POP3 protocol to IMAP. In a window of an e-mail client folders of mail and their copy will appear. In local folders it is necessary to cut all files and to insert them into the similar IMAP folders (the top Tools menu, the IMAP Folders point). It was necessary only to execute synchronization with the server to receive the lost letters.
