How to send Word documents by e-mail

Depending on what mail service you use, process of sending the MS Word file can slightly differ since interfaces of services differ. But the principle of attachment of the document to the letter approximately identical, irrespective of the mail provider selected by you.

It is required to you

  • The mail account on any service, the Word document, ready for sending, the e-mail postal address of the recipient of the letter

Instruction

1. Enter the profile on a mail service and click an icon of creation of the new e-mail. In different the interface it can be called: "Create the letter", "The new letter", "Write" and so forth.

2. Select the addressee from the contact list or enter the recipient's e-mail and also – fill the Letter Subject field.

3. If your mail is located on Yandex service: press the Attach Files button.

4. In the opened window select the necessary Word document, select it with the cursor then press the Open button located in the lower right corner.

5. Check whether correctly you filled fields to "Whom" and "Subject" and press the Send button.

6. If your mail is located on Gmail service: click the icon in the form of an office paper clip located in the lower number of the field of sending the letter.

7. In the opened window select the necessary file for sending and click "Open".

8. Check whether everything fields were filled by you then send the letter with the document clicking of the Send button.

9. If your mail is located on mail.ru service: open a window of the choice of the file clicking of the Attach the File button which is over a letter text entry box.

10. Select the attached file or several files and send the letter with the attached documents MS Word or other files on clicking of the Send button which is in the top and lower part of the screen of sending the new e-mail.
