Use of banners on the website often comes down to normal earnings on advertizing. Practically for each platform the process of its placement is externally similar, but for the websites on DLE there are some nuances which will be considered below. It is required to you • - DLE platform; • - file of a banner in a gif-format; • - software of FileZilla. Instruction 1. If you yet never posted banners on the websites, at once there is a wish to note that it should be executed in the format optimized for these purposes, namely gif. Any image on DLE is located in the Image folder on the server. 2. For work with files of your website it is recommended to use programs of ftp-access. The most widespread at the moment – the free FileZilla program. After its installation and start it is necessary to click the top File menu and to select the Manager of the Websites item. 3. Click "New Website", enter its name and data of ftp-access to it which you obtained at registration at a hoster. It was necessary to click "Connection" for display of files and directories of your website. 4. The file with a banner needs to be renamed into _banner_ and to copy in the folder with images, at stay by the program of the same file click "Yes" on request for replacement of the file. 5. 7. In the lower part of a window include a banner, having pressed the corresponding button. Now the code of a banner needs to be added to the admin panel and the main.tpl file. Pass to a template of your website, find the section of the general page layout, by means of search find the next lines:
