Telltale Games – the independent publisher of computer games, whose name in recent years at all very famous. The company was created in 2004, but years with, perhaps, 2010 when representatives of Telltale declared that they caught licenses of NBC Universal for development of games according to unforgettable movies "Jurassic Park" and "Back to the Future" everywhere began to speak about it. And in February of the next year it became known of the beginning of development of a game based on series The Walking Dead together with Warner Bros. Entertainment.
On my modest understanding top-5 games from Telltale Games should look as follows.
Game of Thrones
The child of the American channel HBO "Game of Thrones" is, perhaps, one of the most bloody series of the last years. Watching this soap opera, there is practically no sense to select to itself among numerous characters of the favourite as he for certain will be killed soon. In a game based on Game of Thrones the characters die far less often, but not less krovavo, and sometimes even on a tear punches. As for the comic moments with which TTG quite often dilute the creations – there are no those as heroes of "Game of Thrones" do not joke … absolutely.
The main heroes of this game from Telltale Games are three representatives of the small and not so ambitious, but desperately fighting for survival Forresterov clan. This game which left in far 2009 won the hearts of fans of a series of the games Monkey Island from LucasArts based on which it was created. 9 years later from the moment of an output of Escape from Monkey Island the admirers of a series had an opportunity to get acquainted with new adventures of good old Gaybrash Tripvud – the young, but already quite glorified pirate who, however, still did not cease to get into the most ridiculous situations.
Here and this time history begins with one embarrassment. Saving the beloved from paws of the spiteful pirate ghost LeChak, the young man safely turns the enemy into the ordinary person, but along with it releases magical smallpox which extends across West Indies to the world, turning the numerous pirates inhabiting it into the zombie. Tales of Monkey Island is a pure quest with a set of puzzles and riddles which also abounds with healthy humour. However, the same can be told also about all other parts of a franchize.
The Walking Dead
One of the best creations of Telltale Games through impregnated with the atmosphere of series. And even the fact that from heroes of series and comic book here you will find nobody (unless Glenn and Hershel Green and that as incidental characters), does not push away fans of "Walking dead persons" at all.
The Walking Dead: The Game begins with the fact that a certain Li Everett who is carried in the police car to prison has an accident. And so matched that just in these hours the fatal infection already extends on the planet. Having regained consciousness in the forest, the poor fellow will come across the first zombie whom he hardly, but nevertheless kills. Soon he meets the girl by the name of Clementina who waits for return of the parents all alone. Back to the Future: The Game
As you already understood, the main hero of the game Back to the Future is a 17-letniya the young man Martie MakFlay. However developers of a game decided not to repeat movie events (and it is correct), and to provide to our attention absolutely another story.
Martie who still did not get over that his friend dock was gone sees a strange dream, as if it is present at the first test of DeLorian again and films it. However this time the machine does not come back in the present as Brown planned, and the dock disappears from reality with the words "I Made an Awful Mistake …".
Or it is not a dream, and memories of what occurred a year before? Considering the fact that Biff Tannen is rather afraid of the father Marty, we come to a conclusion that in the game world of an event of the movie took place to be, and George in youth could put Biff into place (as in the first part of the movie). But what for a dream then Marty dreamed? Obviously, the dock got stuck somewhere in the past and cannot return back. And how to save it without DeLorian? Fortunately for Marty, the time machine suddenly appears near the dock house, and the young man is let to search of the friend back in the future.
It is necessary to pay tribute to developers: imagination at them really rich: they managed to create the most interesting quest where there are both unexpected turns of a plot, and original riddles, and it is a little humour. And where without it?
