Whisky - very popular strong alcoholic drink. It is traditionally manufactured in Scotland and Ireland. Whisky has quite big fortress, from 40 to 60 degrees, and is made of such grain crops as wheat, a rye, barley or corn. Besides, there is a culture of the correct consumption of this drink.

1. Traditions of the consumption of whisky in a number of the countries considerably differ. Ireland serves undiluted drink, but separately bring a glass of clear water. In Scotland on the contrary whisky dilutes at once. The exception is made by chistosolodovy drinks. And here Americans absolutely quietly add Coca-Cola or soda to whisky, generously filling ice in a glass.
2. Pour whisky in massive low glasses with a thick bottom which are called "тублерс". Similar ware was thought up by Americans at the time of the Wild West. During the fights in saloons the ware constantly fought, and owners to reduce losses, thought up to saw bottles. Use of glasses of a tyulpanovidny form is allowed. Roundish walls and small diameter of "neck" allow to estimate aroma of drink as much as possible.
3. Pour whisky approximately on a third of a glass, but don't drink off everything. Slowly sip drink, enjoying each drink. You shouldn't cool whisky strongly. This drink not always demands cold, to it pleasant warmly human hands. Pay attention to drink aftertaste. Usually great whisky differs in long aftertaste, and its aroma is capable to remain in an empty glass several days.
4. Drink whisky approximately as well as cognac. At first look at color of drink, then enjoy its aroma but only then do the first drink. Feel taste of whisky, having taken it a little in a mouth. Further take one more small sip and exhale through a nose.
5. You store in home bar several grades of whisky in case of arrival of guests. Exist the malt, grain, barrel and blended (mixed) whisky. Enjoy this drink in the pleasant company or in a warm house situation. Only you remember that it is strong alcoholic drink, count the forces.
