Chick-pea and salad soup

It is an interesting kind of classical Italian soup, here peas chick-pea replaces white beans. If desired you can replace chicken broth with vegetable that the vegetarian dish turned out. And if time allows, then instead of tinned chick-pea wet dry peas for the night.

It is required to you

  • For six portions:
  • - 1 liter of chicken broth;
  • - 500 g of mix of lettuce leaves;
  • - 200 g of tinned chick-pea;
  • - 5 garlic gloves;
  • - 2 tablespoons of olive oil;
  • - 5 g of a basil;
  • - black pepper, salt.

Instruction

1. Wash out lettuce leaves, cut with strips. Tear off leaflets from a basil, wash out, dry on a paper towel.

2. Heat several spoons of olive oil in a deep pan, squeeze out garlic there, fry before emergence of a characteristic smell.

3. Reduce fire to an average, add the cut salad, fry 2 minutes, without ceasing to stir slowly.

4. Separately bring to the boil the chosen broth. Pour in it in a pan with lettuce leaves, send chick-pea together with juice in which it was preserved. You cook 10 minutes a baking plate a cover. Fire has to be weak.

5. Pepper, salt to taste, add basil leaves to soup, at once give to a table.
