How to make honey wine

In ancient Scandinavia, honey wine was called as differently as "Drink of gods" and it not slyness. The alcoholic honey beverage has noble taste. The small bottle of golden drink will become decoration of any holiday table and will become a pearl of any wine collection.

It is required to you

  • For the first recipe:
  • 5 kg of honey,
  • 5 l. waters,
  • 3 h spoon of hop.
  • For the second recipe:
  • 300 grams of honey,
  • 5 lemons,
  • 200 grams of raisin,
  • 1 h spoon of yeast,
  • 3 tablespoons of flour.

Instruction

1. We put preparation of honey wine according to the recipe No1.1.5 of kg of honey (it is better flower) in a pan, we fill in with hot water and properly we stir. We put a pan on fire. After boiling we reduce fire power to small (boiling has to be) and at periodic stirring we cook honey three hours.

2. We wrap florets of hop and a stone in a rag of a gauze and we add to honey. We prepare medical an hour more. When cooking, liquid will evaporate therefore we add hot water.

3. We remove honey from fire and still hot we filter on banks (we fill for 80 percent). We put cups with honey to the dark warm place.

4. After fermentation ends, we add a glass of tea to honey wine, we mix and we filter through several layers of a gauze. We spill wine on clean dry bottles. Wine can be tasted, but to leave better than it for half a year in a cellar.

5. Preparation of wine according to the recipe No2. We wash lemons, we cut circles, we delete stones. We shift the cut lemon in volume capacity, we add 300 grams of honey, 200 grams of raisin and 10 liters more hotly (but not boiled water) waters. We leave for cooling. We add yeast and flour to the weight which cooled down up to 35 degrees, we leave for 24 hours.

6. When the lemon and raisin emerge, we filter wine through a gauze and we spill on clean dry bottles. Wine can be tasted in 7 days. It is recommended to store wine in the cool place (better in a cellar).
