Gorkushka – a lamellar mushroom with a hat of reddish-brown color. The mushroom received the name because of characteristic bitterish smack which easily is eliminated at the correct preparation.

Salty gorkushka

To prepare salty gorkushka, the following ingredients will be required: 1 kg of mushrooms, 2 tablespoons of salt, 3-4 garlic gloves, horse-radish, caraway seeds, blackcurrant leaves.

Mushrooms clean, cut off and boil 20-30 minutes. Broth is merged, and gorkushka wash out and wring out. In a pan pour 2 glasses of water, add grated carrots, the shredded onions and spices. Water is brought to the boil and continue to cook vegetables until they become soft. Then add mushrooms and acetic acid to water and boil 10 more minutes.
