It is required to you

  • - 1 kg of plums,
  • - 1 kg of granulated sugar,
  • - 1 glass of juice of red currant or apple.

Instruction

1. Jam usually is made of ripe or even overripe plums because the stone has to separate from pulp easily. We take 1 kg of plums, we wash them and we clean from stones. Then we fill in plums with juice of red currant (it is possible to take also other juice, but in apple and krasnosmorodinovy juice there are more substances which promote jellification) and we cook 8 minutes.

2. After that we pour granulated sugar and we cook, constantly stirring slowly, until ready. We check readiness on a jam droplet - if it doesn't spread on a plate, it is possible to remove from fire.

3. Jam we heat we take to spread out small half-liter jars on previously sterilized dry banks, it is so simpler and more convenient to use delicacy then. Cool jam and cork.
