Quite recently a secret of the most popular drink in the world became revealed. Since 1886 the creators of Coca-Cola kept a secret of a formula of this product strict secret.

In 1903, in connection with the ban of use of a cocaine stimulator, the Coca-Cola company changed the recipe. Cooks replaced fresh leaves dry in which cocaine completely was absent. There is an opinion that the recipe long time was stored in the special safe, an access to which only the top management of the company had. Claimed that unknown extract includes the whole mix of oils: lemon, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange, lime and coriander. And only about a year ago the secret of ingredient of H.A only was opened it was necessary to submit a claim on the company, as made the Turkish Fund of Saint Nikolay. According to the legislation of the country, any producer needs to specify full structure of a product surely. As it was supposed, mysterious ingredient has natural origin and is extracted from cochineal scales. In the food industry it is called carminic acid (E-120). Females of these insects are used for receiving paint – a red carmine. The Mexican cochineal insect is considered the most valuable. But official confirmation of this version wasn't. The manufacturer stated that she added usual burned sugar to the product. It turns out that the structure of Coca-Cola still remains a secret, there are different versions about it. But one can be told with full confidence: there is no cellophane or cocaine as a part of Coca. And the destroyed teeth covered with an ulcer bodies – the next myth. But to be fond of Coca-Cola, as well as any other product, isn't necessary, in everything there has to be a measure.
