The choice of the place and preparation of bed for pumpkin
Pumpkin sunflower seeds will not be able to sprout in the frozen and cold soil therefore it is necessary to land them with arrival of heat (in May). So pumpkins grow at rods, they need a lot of place. Pick up the suitable place on your parcel. The pumpkin bed should not occupy all yard, put culture along the house or fence.
Pumpkin has to receive enough sunlight for all day, do not plant seedling in shadow. Water on the chosen site should not stand after abundant rains. Can be good predecessors onions and bean. It is not recommended to grow up pumpkin after peas, sunflower, watermelon, potatoes, squash, cucumbers, melon and bush pumpkins.

Dig over the site on depth of 50 centimeters. Water the site with hot water. It is the best of all to sow seeds during the period from May 10 to May 15 (under film). Crops of seeds and care for pumpkin
Make holes for crops through each 90 centimeters, depth of poles has to be 6-7 centimeters. In hole put on two sunflower seeds. After shoots one sprout is deleted. It is good to land pumpkin sunflower seeds to the warm and damp soil in germinated look (for this purpose seeds turn in the gauze, wetted in warm water).
Care for pumpkin practically same, as well as behind cucumbers. The only difference consists in norms of fertilizing and waterings, that is increases twice.
