1. Preparing materials for laying of concrete border, pay attention to quality of concrete. It has to be shockproof, strong and frost-resistant. The border which is well transferring lowering of temperatures to the winter period contains the air entraining agents providing the contents in material about 5% of air in the structure.
2. If you have decided to make borders independently, and you need to give them any shade for the embodiment of courageous design decisions, add dye to the main compound weight. To receive border of burgundy or red color, add the red pigment which is formed as a result of iron oxidation. For receiving greenish shade add chrome oxide, and for black – manganese oxide.
3. Prepare the basis, soil. For receiving trench of big extent use the trench-digger. It is possible to do ditch of the necessary length with its help quickly. As a rule, depth of hole does not exceed four centimeters. For laying of border with parameters 20 x 20 it is rather simple to level the basis. It is necessary to dig out it, only if at the place of laying there is cespitose earth.
4. Prepare mix from fractional sand, cement and water. Add the substances giving frost resistance and durability. Fill in concrete structure in the prepared basis.
5. Pull thread, having tied it to the pegs hammered into the earth that the design has reached the correct position and did not "dance". Or mount it, using the border machine which, moving along trench, will provide equal laying.
6. By means of hand tools polish all ledges, corners and roughnesses formed as a result of laying of some parts of border. That the border did not burst and did not burst in use from natural shrinkage, make in it compensation seams. Have them on all length of laying. Depth of such seams should not exceed two thirds of height of border.
7. For more reliable strengthening it is possible to create border protection. For this purpose before laying of border it is necessary to lay the reinforcing ropes in concrete bed. Stacking border on asphalt covering, it is necessary to warm and soften it.
