Astilba – fine perennial plant with bright decorative inflorescences and openwork leaves. Height depends on grade, varies within 15-200 cm. Differs in high zimnestoykost. The Astilba perfectly gets on with many shadow plants. Very harmoniously it looks with lilies of the valley, irises and late tulips. It is possible to counterbalance its openwork flowers a little, having put bergenia, hellebore nearby. Often undersized grades land on the Alpine hills, along lawns.
