In spite of the fact that hoses in braid are considered as reliable products, in a number of the countries of Europe they are forbidden; preference is given to other modification – to sylphon metal hoses. Similar hoses are protected by braid from stainless steel or covering from polymers. Some models have even the built-in valve interfering occurrence of gas flow at rise of temperature above the set level.
How to choose gas hose
Pay attention to diameter: usually it standard is also 10 mm, otherwise there will just not be enough gas for oven and all 4 rings. Besides hose type, it is worth looking narrowly at dielectric insert. It is the important part protecting gas-fire from possible penetration of so-called stray voltages which can appear as a result of bad grounding or its breakage and also, for example, at fault of the insulator on gas pipeline entrance to multifamily house. Accumulation of electric potential can lead to heating of metal braid and, as a result, melting of rubber part of hose. The insert made of dielectric material and connected between hose and the gas pipeline interferes with passing of stray voltages. One more danger trapping the buyer of gas sleeve - possibility of acquisition of fake. Therefore it is worth demanding the corresponding certificate from the seller.
