Having got special means in jewelry salon or having prepared it from improvised components, it is possible to solve this problem.

It is forbidden to use abrasive means which are capable to scratch or do other harm to soft metal. The best cleaning of silver has to be made by the sparing methods.
Before the procedure of cleaning, it is necessary to wash out properly subject in soap warm water, using soft toothbrush. Then the product should be rinsed and dried.
As means for cleaning it is recommended to give preference to soapsuds, but not soda, salt and various acids.
The products containing corals, amber or pearls need to be cleaned, being careful not to spoil them irrevocably, they are sensitive to chemicals.

The second way consists in preparation of water solution where water connects to sal ammoniac in the ratio 1:10. In this solution it is necessary to lower the polluted product (from 15 to 60 min.). At gross contamination the undiluted ammonia solution (hold time of 10-15 minutes) is allowed.
For the following method it is necessary to take glass of water to which 1 tsp of sal ammoniac, couple of drops of hydrogen peroxide and children's soap is added. The product falls to solution by quarter of hour.
The potato broth or crude potatoes grated not bad copes with silver cleaning. More trouble will be brought by cleaning with use of citric acid. It is necessary to put piece of copper and silver subject in the container with the acid dissolved in water, and then to put on water bath.
Is a little more problematic cleaning of silver with stones is given, they are sensitive to influence of chemicals therefore such products are forbidden to be boiled and lowered in the solutions containing chemistry. For their cleaning it is better to use gruel from tooth-powder with water. And for lustring - to wipe with the tampon moistened with cologne. The second way: to dissolve polished laundry soap in water and to add couple of drops of sal ammoniac, then to bring to boiling, to cool and apply a little on product surface, having slightly rubbed it.
