The heat gun, in fact, is fan heater of big power. Such heater in miniature is the normal household hair dryer which dry hair after bathing. The difference of the gun from normal fan heater in what hot air this device makes much respectively the room heats up very quickly.
It is required to you
- - asbestos-cement pipe with a diameter of 100 mm and 60 cm long;
- - pipe from tin with a diameter of 400 mm and 1 m long;
- - nikhromovy spiral from the 2 kW rangette;
- - electric cord with fork on 2.5 kW;
- - steel strips 4 mm thick and 30 mm wide;
- - bolts and nuts with M6 thread;
- - drill with drill with a diameter of 6 mm;
- - household three-speed fan with diameter of propeller of 400 mm;
- - steel close-meshed grid.
Instruction
1. From faces of asbestos-cement pipe, at distance of 50 mm from edge, evenly, at identical distance around drill on 4 openings from everyone the parties. These openings for fastening of asbestos-cement pipe in pipe from tin which will be casing of the heat gun.
2. Recede from these openings of 50 more mm and drill on one opening from each edge of asbestos-cement pipe. Insert into the last 2 openings 2 bolts of M6 thread in asbestos-cement pipe and acquire on them nuts. It will be terminals for connection of spiral.
3. Evenly, with small tightness (the spiral should not dangle on pipe) wind with nikhromovy spiral asbestos-cement pipe. Wind conclusions of spiral on heads earlier fixed 2 bolts of M6. Having tightened nuts, fix spiral wires. Over these nuts put on washers bolts, then connect and fix by other nuts electric cord with fork.
4. The spiral has to be reeled up outside of asbestos-cement pipe, the electric cord has to pass in asbestos-cement pipe.
5. Fix by means of 4 steel strips each edge of asbestos-cement pipe on pipe axis from tin. On 2 strips from each party make longer: they will be legs of the heat gun. Asbestos-cement pipe you fix, having displaced it to one face of pipe from tin. From this party (there will be exit of hot air) to tin pipe put on and fix by bolts wire steel close-meshed mesh guard.
6. From the opposite side of tin pipe insert and fix the household three-speed fan. You fix the fan on axis of face of tin pipe, without pushing it in it. All current-carrying parts have to be at distance not less than 50 mm from parts of the body of the heat gun. The spiral has to be densely, without saggings is reeled up on asbestos-cement pipe.
7. Turn on the fan, then include spiral of the heat gun. Changing fan turns, regulate stream and air temperature. Never turn on the heat gun without fan – the fan will melt. You make switching off of the heat gun in the return sequence: at first disconnect spiral when cold air goes - switch off the fan.
