1. First of all, define what design there has to be material. It has to be combined with all other components of the room. In shop you can get boards practically of any tone and color. Modern massive boards have various texture. This material is made of "traditional" breeds of tree and also of exotic. For production of board, in most cases, the beech is used. This wood has pleasant warm shade. The beech has high strength. However boards from such material are very sensitive to moisture. If you do repair indoors where there is high level of moisture, then pay attention to other breeds of tree – tic, larch and similar.
2. Pay special attention to quality of massive board and its geometrical characteristics. In the thickness of levels and on their surface there should not be cracks at all. Pay attention to faces of levels. They should not be burned. Similar defects demonstrate violation of technology of drying. Such material in the future will look extremely not esthetically. Important point when choosing are geometrical characteristics. Boards have to connect without problems with each other. Ledges and failures should not be. Levels which are laid out in a row have to form one solid line.
3. The producer has to provide you a lot of information on the product. Well study goods before purchase. It is recommended to get that massive board which was exposed to drying in cameras of convective type. Optimum moisture content of wood – 9%.
4. Pay attention to availability of certificates of quality. GOST on massive board "is a little vague" therefore good producers try to toughen for themselves requirements to the made product. At manufacturing company there have to be certificates.
