It is considered that the real samovar is capable to fill the house with the Russian spirit and holiday. However if you have bought this unit privately, before use it is worth subjecting ""big-bellied"" to careful washing. As to make it most effectively and easily, it is necessary to tell in more detail.
Instruction
1. Sort samovar. As a rule, they have not enough removable parts: the faucet and key from it, support and also, perhaps, handles and crown. In the majority of cases this list will be completed only half.
2. Fill in samovar with water. For a start you can use normal water from under the crane, previously having stopped up opening under the faucet. Make sure that the samovar does not flow and has no holes. If such after all are, or close up them, having soldered small piece of aluminum, or using special liquid rubber.
3. Begin the main part of washing after the samovar is patched. For a start it is worth washing internal part. Fill in unit flask with hot water at first in mix with cleanser. It is possible to use normal sponge if opening in cover rather wide that in it the hand has crept. If there is no such opportunity, buy the new brush or special brush.
4. After the samovar is completely cleaned, it is necessary to fill in once again it with water with addition of the disinfecting means. At least, guide solution of potassium permanganate of average concentration. Wash out flask properly once again, and then start the following step.
5. Execute cleaning of external part of samovar with cleaning agent as did it inside. The cleaning difference outside only that you do not have need to disinfect it here, but be accurate with those areas where there is joint of parts. As a rule, ""age"" prevails over samovar in these parts, and at too thorough and active cleaning you can damage the body and create new cracks.
6. Collect samovar after cleaning and at least boil water in it twice before having tea is obligatory measure with the purpose to kill the remains of bacteria and to remove, perhaps, not washed away cleansers which can be more dangerous, than even bacteria.
