There is set of various ways of decoration of door openings. It is possible to go on the simplest way and to decorate door opening by means of decorative curtains. It is possible to use such materials as plastic, sandrik, mosaic or stucco molding. But, perhaps, the most popular and effective way of decoration of door openings are still arch designs. To create such design, it is absolutely optional to resort to services of professionals. Practically any owner can make it with own hands.

Instruction
1. Measure width of door opening.
2. Cut off two leaf gypsum cardboard. Width of sheets has to coincide with width of door opening, height - depends on desirable form of arch. Gypsum cardboard is easily cut by means of the electric fret saw. Check edges of gypsum plasterboard by means of construction level.
3. Draw contour of future arch on sheets of gypsum cardboard. Accurately cut it by means of the fret saw.
4. Take the directing profile, apply it to the sheet edge and note the necessary length. Cut off profile by means of scissors on metal.
5. Measure distance in 1.5 cm from edge of wall. Drill in opening wall with step 30-40 cm by means of the perforator. Depth of openings has to be about 5 cm. Attach profile by means of self-tapping screws and plastic dowels.
6. Fix sheets of gypsum cardboard on the received framework by means of self-tapping screws. Self-tapping screws should be twisted through each 10 cm. You watch that hats of self-tapping screws have been slightly drowned in sheets of gypsum cardboard.
7. Measure length of circle of arch aperture and cut off profile according to the made measurements. Make on profile edges small cuts through each 8 cm by means of scissors on metal. Bend profile and fix it from rear side of gypsum plasterboard, along edge.
8. Count necessary quantity of crossing points, proceeding from the fact that they have to be fixed through each 14 cm.
9. Measure distance between edges of arch and also between guides by means of tape measure. Cut out necessary quantity of crossing points from rack-mount profile, being agreed with the made measurements. Attach crossing points to arch design by means of self-tapping screws.
10. Measure once again length and width of circle of your arch. Cut piece of gypsum cardboard by the received sizes.
11. Slightly wet gypsum cardboard and roll it by means of the needle roller for giving of necessary form to it. Bend the sheet of gypsum cardboard and fix it on arch by means of self-tapping screws.
12. Frame arch with perforated corners. Impose the reinforcing tape on seams. Putty all seams and roughnesses. Make finishing finishing according to your wishes.
