Gas - valuable power supply. It is necessary for the person on production and in life. From other types of fuel and raw materials it is distinguished by the low cost and high performance of production, high temperature of burning and zharoproizvoditelnost, full combustion and lack of carbon monoxide to which the atmosphere becomes soiled.
1. The gas consumption in depends on season, population, the number of gas devices. In the winter the consumption of gas increases by 30-50%, the gas consumption peak within a day falls on morning (8-11 h) and evening (18-21 h). The consumption of gas is necessary for development of the project of gas supply of the city or the settlement. Flow calculation of gas is made on norms for the end of the rated period. The rated period is defined by the development plan for the settlement.
2. The gas consumption on domestic and social needs depends on state and quality of the gas-equipment, improvement of apartments of the enterprises, weather conditions. Consumption rates are developed on the basis of the experimental data for consumption of gas and their statistical analysis. Norms consider average conditions. For achievement of accuracy requirement of calculation they are periodically corrected on the basis of the analysis of the actual consumption by Building regulations (Construction Norms and Regulations) give norms of annual calculation of gas in residential units, the household and public enterprises.
3. The gas consumption is defined by household consumers without measuring tools depending on type and the number of the installed gas devices, the number of the people using these devices and other indicators.
4. Therefore for definition of consumption of gas you have to define: - population; - number of the gas equipment in residential buildings and at the enterprises; - weather conditions of the area; - quality characteristics of gas; - standards of heat necessary for activity and production.
