Brooms in bath create unique aroma. They can be dry and fresh. In fresh brooms the high content of essential oils, they are more flexible and strong. Begin to prepare material for them since the beginning of June on August. The most widespread brooms: birch, lime, oak.

- - rods with leaves;
- - secateurs;
- - rope;
- - box for storage.
Instruction
1. To make bath brooms, choose young plants, age no more than 3 years at which branches well bend. Do not prepare raw materials near the road.
2. Cut off side escapes which are located closer to the earth from birch. Leaves on them have to be gentle and velvety, but not rough. When cutting use secateurs.
3. Do not stack the cut-off branches in bags, and connect by rope which rent houses at once. Otherwise they will not be elastic.
4. Leave them in the utility room for one-two days for seasoning. Do not allow hit of direct sunshine on them and excessive drying at this time.
5. Sort branches longwise. Optimum length of broom has to be from 40 cm to 60 cm. Clean the lower part of each branch from leaves on one third, then brooms will not break up.
6. Thickness make such that it was convenient to be held in hand. The broom from the middle is formed. For this purpose add thin to branches more thickly. Bends of branches have to look inside, and the brilliant party of foliage outside.
7. For binding of broom take hempen or cotton rope. Separate broom into two parts. Lay one of them below concerning other part on 15 cm.
8. Very densely connect both bunches in one place. Turn all branches in one party. For this purpose overwind sheaf in one direction. Once again very densely connect broom and cut off thread.
9. Straighten bottom edges of the handle with garden scissors or secateurs. Connect ready brooms in pairs and hang for drying. They should not touch to each other that will allow them to be aired and dry better.
10. Brooms can be spread out in the cool place at distance from each other. They need to be overturned every day.
11. You store well dried out brooms in stacks, periodically shifting them. In city conditions you store in cardboard boxes on which make holes. Do not stack them densely that they have not dried up.
