1. To remove from teapot smell of plastic and its smack from drinks, boil teapot, having added natural lemon juice, citric acid in bags or crusts from lemon. If you add lemon juice, then squeeze out juice from 3-4 lemons, pour out in teapot, add with water to the maximum mark, boil, leave solution for 12 hours, again boil, merge solution, wash teapot with flowing water. If necessary repeat the procedure.
2. For removal of smell of plastic by means of citric acid fill teapot with water to the maximum mark, pour out 2 bags of acid on 25 g, boil teapot, leave solution for the night, in the morning boil the kettle again, merge solution, wash out teapot under flowing water.
3. If you want to use peel from lemons, then fill teapot half with peel, pour water to the maximum mark, boil, leave solution for the night or at least for 12 hours, boil the kettle again, remove everything from it, wash with flowing water.
4. Except the specified means, you can use vinegar or acetic essence. For this purpose pour water into teapot, add 2 tablespoons of 70% of acetic essence (or half-glass of 9% of vinegar), heat teapot, but you do not bring to boiling as when boiling solution will come up outside (there is chemical reaction), that is will pour down over teapot. Carry out heating several times, merge solution, wash out teapot under flowing water.
5. Also baking soda helps to cope with plastic smell. Fill teapot with water, add 3 tablespoons of soda, boil teapot, cool, again boil, merge solution, wash out the device under flowing water.
