The date palm tree is tropical plant which fruits are dates. You can grow up date, observing some recommendations. Sprout date palm trees in house conditions from date seeds ("stones") put in pot with the earth.
Instruction
1. It is better to plant stones not to the earth, but in the crude peat or sawdust mixed with standard sand. You can spread out them on the friable damp earth, having covered with sphagnum (big white marsh moss). Humidify moss and cover from above pot with glass. Pots with date seeds have to stand in rather warm place with temperature of 25-30 degrees. Boring will appear only in 2-3 months (can, even later).
2. Just taken out from dates seeds sprout approximately in month. To accelerate germination, pour over seeds of dates hot (80 degrees) water and leave them to cool down for day. Seeds can also be filed and scratched. Nadpilivaniye, douche by hot water and stabbing will break dense cover of seeds and also will help air and water to get in seeds that is necessary for germination.
3. When boring grows to height of 10 cm, they need to be replaced in small pot with the humus mixed all with the same sand. In small pot the backs quickly expand and the earth does not sour. So roots do not rot.
4. The stalk basis which rises over the soil should be obvorachivat damp moss, and at change to the earth not to deepen. The soil for palm trees needs to be made of the peat or sheet and cespitose earth mixed with sand in equal shares.
5. In the homeland the palm tree has plumose leaves for the third year, in rooms – on the fifth or even on the seventh. Wash leaves only warm water, using soft brush. Actively grow at summer of palm tree therefore the earth should be watered it is abundant. Turn pot to the sun so that the arrow of leaf went to the room. The palm tree will grow at the same time exactly, sprawlingly, but not in one party.
6. Pottery copies of date palm trees should be replaced (to pass) every year, and kadochny cultures – time in 4-5 years. Besides fruits the date palm tree will give you purely esthetic pleasure from its contemplation, being excellent decoration of any room.
