It is possible to grow up oats not only commercially, but also on own parcels and even on windowsill. In kitchen garden this culture can be used for mulching and as the siderat – to fertilize the soil and "to hammer" weeds. The grown-up houses or on beds, add green escapes of oats to diet of pets, use for preparation of curative medicines. The ripened grains can be used in food, and to decorate with the cut-off ears interior in style of country.

Instruction
1. Study features of cultivation of oats and care for it before starting sowing of cereal. It is not especially choosy culture - it is frost-resistant and well takes root on various soils. However oats especially love solar places and well react to fertilizers: on square meter of bed it is enough to you to bring about 5 kg of humus and glass of ashes.
2. Use as sowing material only grains of culture which is grown up in your area. That they have not got sick, before sowing take them in weak solution of potassium permanganate within 20-30 minutes and wash with cold water.
3. In the early spring (at the end of April beginning of May) you prorykhlit the soil for landing of oats and make furrows. Their depth will depend on soil characteristics in your kitchen garden. If it heavy and damp, then is enough to powder seeds with earth layer approximately in 3 cm; at the easy and quickly drying up soil the layer about 5 is necessary, and in droughty places – to 7 cm. Between ranks of the seeded oats leave 10-15 cm. Condense the soil with rake a little, and from above fill a little sawdust for the best deduction of moisture.
4. Cut off appeared green escapes about 7-10 cm high for forage of pets or in the curative purposes. It is considered that these young sprouts of oats contain the greatest number of useful vitamins and mineral substances. If you use cereal as fertilizer, then its zapakhayta in soil, it still green so far. It is necessary to make it in week before planting of vegetable seedling (for example, paprika or tomatoes). Cover soil with dense layer of oat grains and moisten them with water. From above it is desirable to powder easier soil. It is possible to mix the garden earth with store fibers of palm tree or plain sawdust. At last, it is abundant water "bed".
6. Cover container with polyethylene film and put it in the darkened place on two-three of day. When there are first sprouts of oats, put greens on windowsill, loggia or verandah on sunny side. In process of drying of the soil water escapes, and in few weeks you will be able already to let out your pets a little "попастись" on curative bed.
