1. in the springor in the fallFind early in the forest several pine cones. There is a lot of them on open areas. The main thing is to collect cones before heat that they have not managed to be fluffed up.
2. Houses properly dry collected material. Put it on the battery or the oven better if it is. When cones open, shake them and collect sunflower seeds on piece of paper.
3. Prepare plastic or wooden box. In it there have to be openings that excess water could flow down. Fill capacity with the earth mixed with peat. The last will prevent infection of saplings with fungal diseases. From above fill sunflower seeds, and then slightly loosen the soil.
4. Put box to the place where it will be lit by sunshine. Best of all – on windowsill: there is a lot of light, and the pine loves it. Humidify the soil. When there are sprouts, water them every day. But be not overzealous that saplings were struck by phytophthora.
5. For protection against fungus it is possible to water with weak solution of potassium permanganate, but then growth will slow down. Use ready fertilizing for fertilizer of plants. In 5 months of sosenka will get stronger, their trunks will stiffen. Leave them for the winter grow in box, but do not create hothouse conditions.
6. Replace seedlings to the earth in the spring. Do it accurately, carefully separating thin backs when dredging from box. Put at distance 12-15 cm from each other, superficially.
