1. Many modern curtains fasten to eaves by means of wide loops from the same fabric, as the main curtain, or tapes, tape and other dense fabrics. Such curtains are hung up and removed very easily, but look rather informally therefore you should not use such type of fastening in offices or libraries. Besides, sometimes fabric badly slides on eaves therefore it is heavy to open and close curtains. For this purpose there are special sticks which are suspended to eaves on the inner edge of curtains. Conducting for the end of such stick it is possible to shift easily loops in any given party.
2. The most expensive and fashionable, perhaps, is the way of fastening of curtains on eyelets. Eyelets are large metal (or cheaper, plastic) rings which are attached on edge of curtain like rivets. Eyelets perfectly look in interior and provide good sliding of curtain on eaves. However it is heavy way of fastening, you will not make such house, but also it is suitable not for all fabrics, light fabrics and tulle so it is impossible to fix.
3. The oldest way of fastening of curtains on eaves are hooks varied in form. On curtain on the upper edge small eyelets, metal or from fabric, threads, thin laces are sewn. Hooks for which cling these eyelets hang on eaves. The way is very labor-consuming, besides eyelets at sharp moving of curtains strive to come off hooks, it is necessary to climb upward and to correct.
4. Sometimes curtains hang up on special clips crocodiles. Usually these clips fasten on eaves one-piece loop, and the curtain is inserted into them approximately as linen is hung up on clothespegs. Too you will not call such way lung as while the curtain is held by too small quantity of clips, it cannot allow to hang on them gross weight. It turns out that it is necessary to hold curtain moreover both to unclench clips and to insert there the upper edge. Advantage of way is only that it is possible not to prepare curtain in any way. Naturally, it has to be hemmed, but neither loops, nor ring are required to be sewn in addition.
