Instruction
1. Define location of ladder and its configuration. Of course, the choice of form of interfloor ladder, material from which it will be built, and decorative finishing – matter of taste. But before starting construction of ladder, calculate optimum parameters of design.
2. Calculation includes, first of all, definition of geometry of stair well. For example, for spiral staircase the aperture has to be executed in the form of circle, and for mid-flight – in the form of rectangle or square.
3. The optimum depth of tread makes 40 cm, and height – is no more than 25 cm. These recommended sizes should be taken into account at final settlement of parameters of interfloor ladder.
4. Steps of ladder can fasten on stringers or on bowstrings. The second way is most widespread: in this case steps cut in side parts of bowstring.
5. If steps fasten on stringers, first of all establish rod post, on supporting girders note the position of steps and, using circular saw, make dredging. After that attach stringers by means of self-tapping screws to wall at which the interfloor ladder will be located, and then fix steps in special rectangular dredging.
6. In spiral staircase first of all mounting of rack – the bearing basis of all design is carried out. More rational as basis to use the metal pipe attached to floor by means of anchor bolts. After that put on the wooden sleeve and metal washer rack, and then establish steps.
7. Carrying out mounting of spiral staircase, you remember: the distance between steps has to make 15-20 cm. The last step has to be located level with half of the first floor.
8. On completion phase of mounting of interfloor ladder fix handrail, rail-posts and other decorative elements. After that cover design with mordant and varnish.
