It is difficult to provide the modern yard or the seasonal dacha without kitchen garden even if also the smallest. Scales of kitchen garden, costs of it and exterior strongly depend on what you want to grow up and how many work is ready to enclose.
Instruction
1. Be engaged in the organization of kitchen garden long before approach of spring. While on the street the snow lies, sit down at table with pencil and paper, think that you would like to grow up, line the plan of beds. Avoid northern slopes and platforms opened to wind. If those are already available for you, think with what plants you will be able to set them. Unpretentious ornamental shrubs, for example, not only will save all other kitchen garden from wind gusts, but also can serve role of decorative fencing.
2. Think over possibility of supply of water. If on kitchen garden imported water uses, organize the place for installation of the big closed tub. Take an interest in structure of the local soil and take care of preparation of necessary amount of substrate from which you will construct beds. 3. And we have not mentioned seedling yet. However, if you have not enough experience in market-gardening business, you will be able always to buy ready seedling just before disembarkation. It will be hardly worse independently grown up.
4. If the site has small bias, orient your beds perpendicular to it that they remained horizontal. Try to order your plants so that high were located in its northern part and did not block lower.
5. Remember that low-lying sites will longer dry out in the spring, so and to set at you them it will turn out much later. Prepare tools for work and the place where you will store them. Shovels, rake, choppers, buckets for water, garden hoses are minimum without which not to do you.
6. Break beds so that it was convenient to approach them on both sides. If the site crude, raise each of them on 20 centimeters and more. Lay out paths fine gravel or concrete tile.
7. Competently planned kitchen garden will be much easier in daily leaving and will yield more big crop.
