When leading the electric power to country house, giving or distribution of sources of electricity in the apartment during repair the task of electricians consists in competent performance of electric installation work. Therefore it is desirable to plan lighting system of own house even before work of professionals. From in what place of the house there will be sockets and switches, opportunity, anyway, to modernize lighting of each room will depend.
Instruction
1. Distribute the apartment or the house on zones. Each separate zone has to have own source of lighting. Valance lighting is basic for any zone, and here the quantity of local luminous sources depends on their assignment.
2. Modify dimensions and defects of the room by means of light. Place luminous sources in those places on which it is desirable to concentrate attention entering the room. If the room narrow, let its "long" walls are lit if just small – light that its part that is located opposite to entrance. Do not encumber low ceilings with massive chandeliers. It is better to use the flat surface or dot mounted luminaires located on ceiling perimeter. Small side luminous sources conceal roughnesses of walls, unlike bright valance lighting.
3. Decorate the house by means of light. If in the room there are such corners which it would be desirable to allocate visually, then it is possible to make it by means of light, having put floor lamp in such place or having strengthened sconce. Lighting such distracts attention of the visitor of the room from less advantageous moments in furniture of the room. Lamps can become fine interior addition, they can be picked up taking into account the stylistic decision of the house, and it is possible to make singular decorative element.
4. Do not leave about functionality of lighting system at home. Any workplace in the house has to be properly lit. It needs to be considered not only when choosing power of lamp and type of the lamp - it is very important to arrange light in workplace so that it fell on working surface, but did not shine in eyes.
5. Consider technical indicators of the lamps used in the luminous sources chosen by you. If the number of lamps in the house is high, and many of them will be equipped with traditional glow lamps, then the general expense of the electric power in the house will be rather big. Use modern economic LED or energy saving bulbs.
