1. You make landing on spring - it is the most favorable period for this plant. The place choose the most solar as in shadow the juniper grows friable and shapeless.
2. When planting plant distance at tall forms leave 1.5-2 m, at low and medium-sized bushes – 0.5-1 m. Just before landing take earth lump of juniper about 2 hours in water to which it is possible to add a little potassium permanganate.
3. Landing hole prepare 2-3 times more than the size of earth lump and root system. At the bottom surely make drainage layer. For this purpose mix sand and beaten brick in equal proportions and fill up the received mix 15-20 cm thick. Cover roots of juniper with special soil. For its preparation mix 1 part of sand, 1 part of the cespitose earth and 2 parts of peat. Plant juniper so that the root neck was a little higher than the hole. If plant absolutely young, then it has to be flush with the earth.
4. For good development of plant in every spring when watering add special fertilizers – "Kemira-universal" (on 10 l of water of 20 g) or nitroammofoska (20-40 g on sq.m). It is possible to buy them in specialized shop.
5. In the first year after landing (several times during the season) carry out superficial scarification, having added to soil of a little crushed pine bark and peat. At the same time do not forget to water juniper sometimes.
