Each gardener has to know when and how to plant saplings. The correctness of their landing influences the further growth and development of bush or tree. Preparation of saplings for landing

Planting of saplings needs to be carried out to period of rest which happens during the period between active growth in the fall and spring blooming of kidneys. In midland it is the best of all to plant saplings in the spring that they have managed to take root till the cold weather, but only after full defrosting of the soil. Ideally, of course, for root system to carry out landing in the winter, but it is difficult process, not to do without experienced expert here.

Only the healthiest and qualitative saplings will be able to take root on the new place. Choosing them, it is necessary to consider the maximum diameter of krone, to pick up the plant corresponding to conditions of the place of disembarkation. Roots and branches should not have mechanical damages, the begun to rot spots. The rhizome has to bend freely and not to be dried up. It is attentively necessary to look at integrity and color of bark.

That saplings have well remained from the moment of their purchase before disembarkation, it is better to minimize this storage life. Open parts of root system need to be wrapped in damp fabric and to watch that it did not dry. To store saplings in the cool room.

Just before landing at saplings it is necessary to cut off tips of roots which are damaged, dry backs to remove. After that to place sapling in bucket with water at several o'clock if it in container – it is abundant to water the soil. At fruit plants before landing it is necessary to truncate young escapes on third.

If the support is necessary for tree or bush, it needs to be established in advance. Depth of landing has to be specified individually for each plant. The central escape has to be located most exactly. After charge of soil it needs to be stamped, made around pole hillock for water deduction, it is abundant to water sapling.

In the first days after landing it is necessary to watch how the soil sinks and to pour necessary quantity, to control the provision of plant and soil dampness.
