Grapes – ancient culture which means of reproduction is the shank (chubuk) of grapevine. The sleigh prepares in the summer, and preparation for reproduction of seedling of grapes happens in the fall. Then they are dried on paper, previously having got wet with towel. Having wrapped shanks in plastic bags, them densely tie. Store shanks usually in dry the basement, cellar or on the warmed loggias. Ideal temperature for storage – 2-4 °C is higher than 0. In storage time the shanks check, at least once a month, regarding emergence of mold or drying. When drying – humidify. At emergence of mold the shanks wash out, wipe, process potassium permanganate solution. Dry and pack for further storage.

Before landing the shanks rub off rags, deleting spots of mold and residues of vitriol. Examine planting stock. On cut the shanks have to have bright green color.
