1. Change before crops are exposed to number of agrotechnical actions which are directed to increase in productivity of cultures. Pepper - very gentle and thermophilic vegetable, with the long vegetative period. For this reason pepper is landed on seedling in early terms, approximately from the middle of February. Seeds of pepper very quickly lose viability and therefore choose fresh material for crops. There is one more reason which needs to be considered at crops of pepper is low energy of germination. Seeds which were not exposed to preseeding processing ascend at least 14-20 days.
2. From among the available seeds we reject the smallest, puny and damaged. We prepare 3% salt solution and we lower in it seeds for 5 minutes. After this time the full seeds will settle on bottom, and empty, unsuitable will remain to float on surface. We merge salt solution together with floating seeds, and we wash those seeds which have fallen by bottom with clear water. So, we have chosen viable seeds, further agrotechnical ways will consist in disinfecting, removal of seeds from somnolence and increase in immunity.
3. Disinfecting (etchback) of seeds - this way can not only bring benefit, but also do much harm. Be attentive when processing seeds chemical medicines. The most available way – processing in solution of "potassium permanganate". According to numerous recommendations the soaking in dark solution of permanganate of potassium is traced. But at wrong concentration the seeds can not only reduce viability, but also die. We prepare solution in separate capacity on 100 ml of water of 1 g of medicine and it is carefully stirred. Solution gains saturated color. In flat dish where we are going to pickle seeds, we pour a little water and we add the divorced solution of "potassium permanganate" to it, we bring to pinkish shade. It will be enough, for disinfecting of sowing material and the vital energy of seeds will not decrease. We ret in solution of 10-15 minutes then we wash out in clear water. Other less safe way - we carry out disinfecting of seeds by Fitosporin the concentrate in separate capacity Is parted according to the instruction and carefully stirred before full dissolution of weight. Further in other ware we part 100 milliliters of water and we add 1 drop of concentrate. We keep in solution 1 hour, then we wash out in clear water. This medicine is biological. Use of special medicines yields the best results, and however, the choice for you.
4. Growth stimulation - increase in immunity, ability of plant to resist to adverse factors during the vegetative period. Accelerates process of germination of seeds. Ret in the medicine "Epin-Ekstra", "Tsirkon". At mixing of mortar are guided by the instruction. The prepared nettle solution (1 tablespoon of dry nettle on 1 glass of boiled water) will help to increase immunity of future plant too. We keep in solution 2-3 hours then, without washing out, we ret for further germination.
5. Soaking and prorashchivaniye of seeds - acceleration of germination of plants. Seeds of pepper have low energy of germination. For receiving fast and amicable shoots the seeds of pepper need to be wetted. We prepare melt water. For this purpose we gather snow in bucket, we bring to the warm room for defrosting. The first drops of the thawed water will be the most useful, we will use this water. For prorashchivaniye the seeds fill in superficial capacity with damp rag or gauze. It is important to lay out seeds on one edge of fabric, and to cover with another. Seeds have to absorb moisture, we merge excess water droplets. The planting stock is living organism and therefore surplus of water at prorashchivaniye is pernicious for seeds, we can just drown them, for this reason in capacity there should not be water. We place capacity with damp seeds in "small greenery" from plastic bag. Prorashchivaniye passes at temperature about 23-27 degrees with daily airing. During soaking the seeds bulk up and small sprouts turn up. And here it is important not to miss the moment and not to allow to outgrow to seeds. Reference point is emergence of white sprouts in the form of slightly noticeable "beaks". Immediately sow the sprouted seeds in the paved way. If seeds do not ascend for 5-7 days, we carry out stratification, we put in the fridge for day. If does not help, then we discard.
