Many flower growers face problem of emergence of mold in pots. At the same time sometimes it appears just suddenly, for example, at change of flower in fresh soil. If similar has occurred, it is necessary to fight against mold, without postponing. Otherwise it can cause rotting of roots of plant and its death.

1. As the ideal environment for reproduction of blue stain funguses is the increased humidity, analyze whether not too often the plant pours down. If the raised soil moisture is observed, and the mold in pots has begun to appear only, stop watering, dry plant, and remove external part of soil on height of 1.5-2 cm, having replaced it fresh.
2. If the similar action has not helped, it is necessary to change all soil. For this purpose pull out flower from pot together with lump of the earth and postpone it for drying for day. You will throw out old soil, and process pot at high temperatures. The ceramics can be boiled in hot water or to put for several minutes in oven. It is better to leave plastic pots as even at the most careful processing on their walls there can be disputes of mushrooms which will begin to breed actively and in new soil.
3. On bottom of pot put rather thick layer of drainage, and already on it plant plant. It is possible to powder soil from above with small layer of sand or to lay out haydite which will help to avoid the increased humidity.
