Gardeners argue on how to prepare seeds for landing, but all of them agree in opinion that these procedures are necessary and are basis of future rich harvest. Preseeding preparation of seeds of tomatoes will help to grow up strong and healthy seedling and to save them from many diseases.
Instruction
1. It is proved that the seed is larger and heavier, the plant therefore it is necessary to select the best seeds will be stronger. For this purpose lower them in solution of ordinary table salt (30 g by 1 liter of water). Mix weight and take seeds in solution of 5-10 minutes, no more. During this time the empty seeds not capable to sprout will emerge. Collect them and you will throw out, and remained wash out in flowing water, and then dry up, having decomposed on the sheet of paper.
2. To help to cure seeds of tomatoes of fungal infection if it is, and etchback can prevent its emergence on plant further. However consider that you should not carry out this procedure with seeds of tomatoes which have already had necessary preseeding training (this information is usually specified on bag of seeds). The easiest way of disinfecting of planting stock — soaking in potassium permanganate solution.
3. For this purpose make solution at the rate of 1 g on 1000 ml of water. Put seeds of tomatoes in pink solution and take them in it about 15 minutes. 4. Seeds of tomatoes need stratification. This reception will help to temper them, plants will be able to transfer falls of temperature. Wash the disinfected seeds with hot water, then at once cool them, having placed in the cool place with temperature of 1-2 degrees above zero. Leave them for two days, at this time periodically moisten with water that have not dried up. After that spread out planting stock on the sheet of paper and dry.
5. Soaking (prorashchivaniye) will help to bring seeds out of condition of rest. It is very effective way of processing of seeds of tomatoes which will help to accelerate germination. Moisten cotton fabric and put on it seeds of tomatoes. Cover them from above and once again wet. Put to the warm place and periodically you watch that material did not dry.
6. It is possible to couch seeds and in nutritious solution. It can be sodium humate solution (quarter of teaspoon on 1 liter of water) or the Ideal fertilizer (solution needs to be made of calculation 1 tablespoon of medicine on 1 liter of water). But the best natural fertilizer are wood ashes. Mix 1 tablespoon of ashes and 1 liter of water. Put seeds in gauze sacks lower in nutritious solution and take them in it within a day. Then put them in clear water and you hold, will not arise yet.
