1. Such eaves have one shortcoming — over time the string sags. But this problem is easily fixed. As a rule, in such eaves there is special type bolt for pulling up of the drooped string. String eaves are also two-row to hang up normal classical curtains. As string the steel wire which fastens to side face of wall by means of bolt is used. Opening for the holding bolts drill in eaves legs at distance 2/3 heights from the lower edge and 1/3 width from crossbeam. The correct fixture of eaves — one of components of success of further tension of string.
2. For tension use bolt with the drilled head. Insert it through leg, washer and slightly put the clamp. Miss one end of string through opening in bolt head and tie on the other hand, previously having pulled. Then do the same on the other side of eaves: pass through the second leg, washer and too tie.
3. Then pull string to the necessary degree of elasticity. Curtains from light air fabric best of all look on string. Such curtains are very easy to use. Especially well look at penthouse windows with stone windowsill. But that the string was constantly tense, it needs to be mounted carefully. The string can be pulled not only at window, but also between opposite walls. In this case the curtain will become partition or screen. Some types of string eaves are completed with hinged brackets. It will give additional convenience in case you want to establish string eaves in the house. Anyway, the most important is to pull properly rope that it has not sagged.
