- - new metal fixture;
- - joiner's glue of PVA;
- - rubber hammer;
- - varnish or paint.
Instruction
1. Look how parts at table connect. For this purpose invert it and put table-top on plain surface. Wooden parts can be fastened to the help of metal elements or on thorns.
2. When using improve them in connection of legs of metal elements. If the table all the same is unsteady, unscrew all bolts or screws. Look at thread. At its damage replace fixture with new.
3. Before replacement of fixture attentively examine all openings. They can crumble therefore at once it is impossible to screw in screws. It is necessary to strengthen wood in these parts.
4. Drill out openings of the bigger size in the destroyed places. Miss the mark joiner's or the PVA furniture glue the wooden stopper suitable on diameter. Hammer it with the hammer into opening and dry.
5. Make drill opening under new screw or the self-tapping screw. Collect table anew with new metal fixture.
6. If the old table is connected on wood nails, take it to constituent parts. Beat out parts rubber hammer or enclose wooden plate to that place where you will strike. Then on tree there will be no dent left and chips.
7. Clean places of fastenings from old glue. Check not only wood nails, but also grooves. Foreign inclusions will reduce durability of new connection.
8. Check all gaps, wood nails should not dangle in grooves. If the slot has too cracked, enclose in it several ostruganny matches which are missed the mark with glue or envelop thorn the gauze or rag impregnated with PVA.
9. Collect table, coating connecting parts with joiner's glue of PVA. For better fastening of parts wind collected table with rope. Leave in such situation before full drying of glue.
10. Repair table-top. The varnished table to oshkurta, patch deep scratches special putty. Level the closed-up places and varnish surface. Let's each layer dry well, then grind it fine-grained nazhdachka and paint with the roller.
11. If the table is painted with paint, update it, having picked up color. If necessary remove with special solvent the damaged places. Cover table with new coat of paint.
12. Refresh (paint or polish) table legs under new table-top.
