1. Change of the taken roots sprouts in pot. At reproduction of any grades of carnation the shanks or layers should be landed in pots. Prepare the correct structure of the soil. Mix two parts of the cespitose earth, one part sheet and one part of sand. After germination of shanks there comes need again to replace carnation.
2. Change of the sprouted shanks and layer. Usually shanks go to growth at the end of winter then there comes need to pick up for them new structure of the soil. For the similar purposes the structure is selected from two parts of the cespitose earth, one part of sheet and one part of humus. Do not forget to add a little sand.
3. Preparation of the place. Regardless of goal – change in pot or on other bed, surely perfectly prepare the place for change. On bed or in pot dig out the correct poles which will become haven for carnation saplings. If it is bed, then arrange carnation sprouts at the distance approximately equal to twenty centimeters. The size of pole has to be such that the earth lump with roots has without effort entered it. Roots have to remain not rumpled.
4. Watering. At rather hot and droughty weather of pole carefully water. After change well water plants. It is required to be made that from roots the earth was not showered, then the carnation will better take root. At first attentively trace that the earth at roots did not dry up, however the unreasonable humidity cannot be allowed. Water regularly and small doses.
5. Fertilizing. The carnation well reacts to mineral fertilizers. Carry out fertilizing two weeks later after replacing of plant. The rerotting organic or mineral fertilizers well will be suitable for carnation.
6. Support of stalks. At change of the blossoming carnation stalks and also well grown shanks, there is probability of their drowning. For the purpose of prevention of it organize support of stalks. After change tie up them or lean against support.
