1. It is the best of all to replace euphorbia in the spring or in the early summer when the vegetative period begins. Young plants – once a year, adults – time in 2-3 years. Before change the euphorbia needs to be watered. The earth will soften and it will be simpler to take out plant.
2. In new pot lay drainage. For this purpose large stones will approach. They will weight pot and will not allow it to fall. The root system of euphorbia develops close to surface, and with sufficient height the plant can be filled up. Considering features of development of root system, it is better to choose wide flat pot. In big deep pot the euphorbia will begin to last strongly up.
3. Fill a little soil, suitable for cactaceous plants, having left deepening for roots. The way can be paved independently. Mix sand, the turf, peat, the sheet earth and crushed brick in equal parts. The main condition – good air permeability. For prevention of diseases add wood charcoal.
4. Envelop euphorbia thick fabric or dense paper, trying not to damage shoots and prickles. Put on dense gloves, dig out top layer of the earth a little and try to undertake the lower part of trunk where there are no prickles. About someone's the help, having a little hyped up soil, pull out plant from pot. If it is impossible, then it is possible to put accurately euphorbia on one side and through drainage hole of pot to push out earth lump stick.
5. Exempt roots from the old soil and place plant in new pot. Fill the remained place with new soil, holding plant for the basis. It is possible to strengthen in addition trunk, having imposed it with pebbles. It will reduce risk of falling.
