Curtains with lambrequins are the curtains decorated from above by the draped frill. Respectively also they look as the finished composition giving to the room characteristic style and solemnity. It is possible to sew curtain with lambrequins independently.

1. Measure length of future curtain and decide on lambrequin length.
2. Now prepare cuts. The main fabric for curtain: put its length and height of lambrequin, add 17 cm on podgib from below, and 2 cm on podgib from above. Cut out cuts taking into account that their width will be equal to width of future curtain. Then cut out lining fabric, on the same cuts, only doing them 8 - 10 cm shorter.
3. The following step sew panels of the main fabrics among themselves, and lining. Turn in and hem edges of panels as it has been specified in calculations.
4. Now it is necessary to sew the main fabric – curtain and lining. For this purpose put them the faces to each other and, combining seams and the centers, level on the top corners. Sew them on top side, then carefully smooth seams.
5. Then put curtain face side down, and combine seams and the middle so what on each side, from edges of lining to the brim of the main curtain, the strip 3 cm wide was formed. Fix fabric by means of pins or special needles, and stitch curtains on top side. Then it is necessary to sew curtain with lambrequins. Then invert curtain on other party and iron.
6. Execute and process corners of podgib. From the top corner, measure and note lambrequin height by means of pins. On this line, from the inside, attach tape so that from both of its parties there was allowance for 2.5 cm. Accurately sew tape, conducting line in one direction that it was not formed folds.
7. After have sewn tape, collect curtain in folds and throw lambrequin on face side of curtain, over tape.
8. Pass hooks in curtains that they settled down at distance of 10 cm from each other.
