In the construction market it is possible to meet the wide range of floor coverings. Big distribution was received by linoleum. Sometimes there is not enough width of linoleum for all half of the room, and then it is necessary to make together two or more rolls. At the same time joints of rolls connect welding.

- - chisel;
- - cord for welding;
- - arc-shaped knife;
- - welding gun;
- - wide adhesive tape.
Instruction
1. Before purchase of linoleum learn the size of the room and calculate necessary quantity of rolls. After necessary calculations are made, decide what type of linoleum is necessary to you. The way and cost of works on welding of covering directly depends on it. In case room space big is also supposed connection of several rolls by means of direct seams or appliques, choose method of "hot welding".
2. Spread out linoleum rolls on floor as it is possible more closely to each other that joints were almost not visible. By means of chisel walk along all length of rolls, doing groove for special cord which will be used in welding. Take the vacuum cleaner and carefully clean all dirt from joints.
3. Fill cord in welding gun then include the last in the electric socket. On fraction of a second put gun to seam to fix cord on joint. Do it with pressing. Accurately process seam on all length of roll of linoleum. Until the seam has cooled down, take chisel and level surface. Perform work carefully, avoid too deep cuts.
4. If room space is small and does not demand large number of rolls, choose method of cold welding as glue. For this purpose put on gloves and by means of the vacuum cleaner smooth out linoleum joints, remove dirt and dust. If water is found, before work it needs to be wiped. Paste wide adhesive tape on position of joint of edges to designate welding borders.
5. Take knife and accurately cut adhesive tape over the place of joint. Prepare tube with glue. In order that drops of glue did not fall on linoleum, attach cotton tampon at tube tip.
6. Glue joint and carefully lay glue part of covering. The ledge of glue part should not exceed 4-5 mm. Remove adhesive tape in 7-10 minutes. Wait for slightly more than half an hour and examine covering. If have found the dried-up glue, remove it by means of knife.
