Instruction
1. Before laying of linoleum execute number of necessary actions: take out all furniture, household appliances from the room, remove floor plinth. Critically examine the available floor covering. Consider, it has to be equal. Choose method of alignment of floor depending on type of the available covering. For concrete it will be additional tie, and for tree – the sheet of thick plywood or gypsum cardboard.
2. If on equal floor linoleum is laid, but it has become outdated, it can be not removed. Use old covering as additional sound insulation and heater. If under it there is large amount of construction debris, so floor has not been adequately grounded. It is possible to unbend edges of old linoleum, to vacuum both covering, and floor. Then to ground any kind of construction mix.
3. Be engaged in finishing work, only if you are able to use mounting tools. Consider that it is possible to spread new linoleum in several ways. For example, choose the simplest option. Just roll the linoleum roll corresponding to length and width of your room on equal floor. Performing this work, exclude appearance of any swellings and roughnesses. Let material will rest in bed at least day. Then fix it at the edges by means of construction adhesive tape and floor plinth.
4. It is possible to spread linoleum by glue method. For this purpose it will be required to buy the corresponding glue. Its choice will depend on material basis - linoleum substrate. For example, for floor covering with fleecy basis it is necessary to choose glue PVA or Bustilat. With smooth substrate apply special latex mastics to linoleum. Correctly to prepare such glue, study the instruction on its packing.
5. For a start lay linoleum roll on surface to which the covering then will be pasted. Apply glue by means of the wide palette on its free part. Carefully roll roll on the processed surface. Accurately press linoleum the special roller. Move it from the middle of the laid floor covering to edges. Do not allow linoleum shift. You watch closely that under it air bubbles were not formed. Choose this way if width or length of the chosen material does not coincide with the room sizes.
