Light should not get into the room. Suitable humidity – no more than 80%. If it is higher, garlic will quickly become covered by mold or will begin to start to rot slowly.   

What to store garlic in 

The simplest option – cardboard box, safely use shoe. Heads are allowed to be displayed layers, but their height should not exceed 15 cm. Instead of cardboard boxes use wooden boxes or wicker baskets. 

In the apartment it is the most convenient to store garlic in the normal glass jars which are previously sterilized. Place in them heads and zakoyta cover. Periodically look through tanks regarding the spoiled copies.

It is possible to season garlic with salt. Layer height from below and from above has to be not less than 3-4 cm. Salt perfectly absorbs excess moisture. With the same purpose and the same way it is possible to use flour.

Honest is perfectly stored till spring in linen bag from natural materials. Previously take heads 1-2 minutes in the concentrated salt solution and dry. Similar actions minimize risk of emergence of mold. It is admissible to soak in salt not heads, but bag. 

As a last resort for storage it is possible to use also refrigerating door. Only in such conditions garlic will rather quickly lose presentation and tastes.
