At first sight interior design seems simple science, but as soon as there is task to think up registration of the room, there is set of questions. It is necessary to choose such style which will be pleasant to the owner, the look of guests will please, to correspond to room function, its sizes and planning, the esthetic principles and, of course, the budget.

1. To choose design of the room, it is necessary to decide first of all on style of interior, that is on the uniform art direction. In harmoniously decorated and arranged room of people will feel comfortable if the interior corresponds to its taste. If all apartment or the house are issued in uniform style, then choose it for creation of interior of the room. Otherwise follow the advice given below.
2. Analyze your way of life. It is the first criterion according to which it is necessary to select design – the mode changes, tastes too, but you should live in the room therefore it has to correspond to real vital conditions. For example, the style hi-tech assuming large number of sharp angles, metal objects and glass furniture will not be suitable for the house where there is child, especially, for the children's room. You should not make out the room in minimalism if in the apartment there live many people. The "air" bedroom in pastel tones – not the best option in the house where there are pets. Follow practicality reasons.
3. Choosing style of interior, you proceed from room function and tastes of the resident. In the nursery it is desirable to use the bright, but not irritating colors. In the bedroom – to create the quiet, warm atmosphere in classic style. There are no strict rules concerning registration of the living room, kitchen or the dining room. It is also important to consider own tastes, the interior is personal space. Therefore it is not necessary to listen to acquaintances or to implement in practice interiors from magazines. But will not be to get acquainted with councils of professional designers superfluous.
4. When the style of interior is chosen and its main objectives are designated, draw the plan of the room in scale, having measured all walls, ceiling, doors and windows. If the room combines several functions, think over as it is better to separate it into zones. The main zones in any house are: hall, zone of acceptance of food, recreation area, works, cooking and so on. For example, it is desirable to place workplace at the deadlock – such conditions as much as possible promote concentration. To differentiate parts of the room, use color, various partitions, furniture.
5. Consider features of the room, its merits and demerits – in lighting, the size, proportions. Design receptions will help you to broaden visually the room, to increase ceilings, to add light. For example, if windows in the room come to the North, it is desirable to use warm, light and saturated colors in design and to think over lighting. Large and bright drawings on wall-paper visually reduce the room sizes, vertical strips do ceilings high.
