Removal and dismantling of rack is rather difficult procedure which is recommended to be trusted professionals. However if you are sure of the forces, it is possible to try to touch rack independently.

  • - "drift";
  • - head;
  • - key on 13;
  • - key on 27;
  • - keys hexagons;
  • - chisel.

Instruction

1. Removal and dismantling of damping rack is recommended to be carried out on the elevator or viewing hole. Before touching rack, it needs to be removed. There are two ways of dismantling of damping rack, everyone them which has the pluses and minuses. The first way allows to perform work much quicker, but means the subsequent adjustment of angles of installation of wheels. They are recommended to remove and sort telescopic shock struts. The second - more laborious, but not demanding further adjustments.

2. Both in that and in other option at first it is necessary to remove stub of the top support and to weaken connection, using the special key allowing to hold rod. Disconnect steering draft.

3. At the first way of removal of rack it is recommended to mark with marker the provision of adjusting bolt. Precisely to establish corner of disorder of wheel it will not turn out, the deviation of value will be minimum.

4. Turn off nut of the top bolt by means of key on 19 and heads. Using "drift", beat out bolt from metal. Remove the lower bolt by analogy.

5. Accurately, avoiding tension of brake hose, take away rotary fist. Turn off fastening nuts of the top support and dismantle shock strut.

6. The second option assumes removal of rack together with rotary fist. At the same time nuts of the top and lower fastening bolts connecting rotary fist to rack are not weakened. It increases amount of works - it is necessary to remove in addition spherical support, the drive and brake support.

7. Remove guide of checkblocks together with support, the brake disk, take the external CV joint. Turn off the attachment bolts fixing the top support on car body. Dismantle rack assembled with rotary fist.

8. To touch shock strut it is necessary to establish two ties on spring. Arrange couplers opposite to each other so that they hooked on 5 spring coils. Squeeze spring, rotating screws of couplers. Make sure of what it does not press on basic cups.

9. Turn off fastening of the top support by means of key on 27. In order that the rod was not turned, recommended to hold it by means of hexagon. Dismantle rack support.

10. Remove the bearing of support and the top cup. Dismantle spring, the compression course buffer, and then - protective cover. Remove buffer support, using chisel. Turn off fastening of the body of rack by means of key. Remove nut and pull out rod with cylinder.

11. Merge depreciation liquid. Carefully wash out the body and install in it the depreciation cartridge. Make assembly in the return sequence.
