Instruction
1. Begin process with removal of door because on weight it will be extremely inconvenient to do work. If loops fixed, then it is necessary to unscrew self-tapping screws. Also remove all decorative elements of the lock and handle from door to provide full access to the processed surface. Establish door in horizontal position on couple of stools or other support. It is possible to start grinding.
2. Take abrasive paper (it should not be so rough to leave scratches on tree) and polish lacquered surface, or what from it remained. At this stage the task is in removing all scrapes, spots also to achieve uniform color.
3. After grinding the door should be processed decorative mordant, previously having picked up the shade not very different from the original, and after full drying to varnish.
4. When varnish hardens, it is the best of all to take even more small abrasive paper, than when grinding and to pass once again on all surface, removing wood pile which has risen under the influence of varnish up. Now it is possible to put 1 – 2 varnish coat, and the door will be difficult to be distinguished from new.
5. It is possible to put into place decorative elements of door accessories and to be engaged in door case. If not to do the same work with it as with door, its exterior will strongly differ from door cloth.
