Freezing of water in pipes in winter time – the phenomenon frequent. It can be caused by inefficient warming, insufficiently deep bedding of pipes or extremely low temperatures. In warming of plastic pipes there are features.
It is required to you
- - The tempered wire;
- - construction hydrolevel;
- - Esmarkh's mug;
- - two-core wire;
- - fork for the socket.
Instruction
1. Level tube of hydrolevel and steel wire. The end of wire, having bent for giving of hardness loop, attach to hydrolevel. Wind with insulating tape. Notice that the end of wire has to address on 1 cm wire, and the wire should not stick out. Connect other end of construction level to Esmarkh's mug.
2. Advance wire with tube in water pipe until they do not bury in ice. Thanks to the small weight and diameter the hydrolevel tube easily moves ahead on pipe, overcoming turns. When ice is reached, begin to pump hot water through tube. Under water pipe substitute bucket for draining of the coming-out water. In process of ice thawing push wire with tube further. Before pushing tube, fill in not less than 10 liters of hot water.
3. It is also known that when through water there passes current, large amount of heat is generated. Make the electric device which, warming water, itself does not heat up. Such property of the device allows to use it, without being afraid that the plastic pipe will melt. Remove the top insulation course from two-core copper wire. Then bend one wire in the opposite direction along wire. Previously envelop it fabric not to damage isolation by combination pliers. Bare the second wire.
4. Near the edge of wire make 3 – 4 rounds bare wire, having bitten off with nippers surplus. Recede 3 mm from the place of the termination of rounds and bare the second wire. Reel up it similar to the first. It is important that wires did not adjoin in order to avoid short circuit. Attach fork for the socket to other end of wire. Test the device in vessel with water. Its working capacity will be demonstrated by the bubbles departing from contacts.
5. Insert wire into water pipe and advance it before achievement of ice. At the same time you watch that the wire was not bent. Then turn on the device in the socket and slightly press on wire that it rested against ice. Do not forget, as well as in the first case, to prepare bucket for collecting the thawed water.
