1. Stability of the base and house built on it depends first of all on condition of soil. However this procedure demands material inputs therefore very few people resort to it.
2. It is possible to drill independently on the site several wells of 2-2.5 m in depth and to try to define soil type. If the level of underground water is lower than 2 - 2.5 m, soil is considered poorly puchinisty, depth of its freezing is no more than 1 m. 3. When underground waters are located rather highly, soil is considered puchinisty. It can be executed as the plate base with stiffening fins or in the form of normal continuous monolithic plate up to 0.4 m thick under all construction.
4. Sometimes top layers of the soil weak, but at depth of 1.5-2.5 m there is strong and reliable soil. In this case it is possible to neglect rebound at such depth and to build the continuous buried footing with the basis on dense layers of soil.
5. However it is necessary to consider that continuous footing will be exposed to side forces of rebound which affect its walls on tangent. If the house from foam concrete block is rather easy, side forces will be able to move it down. Such processes adversely affect house walls.
6. Considering the small weight of foam concrete blocks, on weak soil recommend to construct the pile column base. The bases of piles are put in solid soil at depth of 2-2.5 m. However it is necessary to consider that such design is ideal for buildings with the small basis which are minimum subject to deformation. When using the pile base for houses from foam concrete block it is worth showing care, to carry out exact calculations and to reduce distance between columns to minimum.
7. If it is impossible to do without the plate base, but its cost too for you is high, it should be taken into account option of construction of the plate base with stiffening fins, it will allow to cut down costs a little.
