Useful properties of compost are quite high. All batteries are not in type of organic soluble salts, and in peculiar connection with organic matters. They are not washed away during the waterings and rains in deep soil layers, always remain in top layer of the earth where roots of plants are concentrated. Compost is enriched with humus and necessary microelements, for the earth are fine mulch which suppresses growth of weeds and keeps moisture. Structure of compost pit
To compost there can be following economic waste: crude fruit, vegetables, tea, coffee and cereals; remains of ready food; straw and hay; meat waste; the crushed wood; ashes; the fresh and rerotting manure of agricultural herbivores; natural paper in the crushed look. Here garden waste joins: the crushed branches, bark, wood and roots; thin branches after obrazka of bushes and trees; the grass mown from lawn; young weeds; freshwater or seaweed; the last year's semi-rerotting leaves; other organic waste materials. It is very important to alternate at the same time correctly the products postupayemy in compost pit. The main principle consists that green layers (soft and wet) need to be alternated to brown (firm and dry). Lay layer of the crushed paper, then small layer of grass, further layer of annual plants and last year's leaves on vegetable or fruit layer. It is impossible to put in compost pit: plastic bottles and iron jars; firm and big meat bones; coals; waste after use of herbicides, the long-term and blossoming kornevishchny weeds; dry leaves of the current year; the waste struck with wreckers and diseases.
